Staubach Knows Better Than Anyone How Romo Feels
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is still dealing with his aching ribs, but has one legendary fan.
Former Cowboy great Roger Staubach knew a thing or two about playing through pain...specifically rib injuries.
Staubach says he broke two ribs in a game and continued to play.

Staubach says it's an injury that is manageable, and expects Romo - while hurting - will be ready come Sunday.
He says he has never doubted Romo, and that the toughness and competitive spirit Romo has shown over the last couple of weeks should sway the neigh sayers.
One thing is for certain, #12 believes in #9.
