State Rep. Under Fire Says She'll Give Back Cars

State Rep. Linda Harper-Brown, R-Irving, under fire for possible ethics violations related to two luxury cars driven by her husband and herself, now tells the Dallas Morning News that she's giving those cars back.

You might remember, Harper-Brown put out this video after the story came to light, in which she blamed President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, the "liberal media" and others for what she called baseless attacks:

That video did not sit well, even with conservatives here in town.   Harper-Brown has done no interviews on the subject, but Dallas Republicans have said it's hypocritical for Dallas Democrats to lecture anybody about ethics.

UPDATE WITH AUDIO at 4:pm: I just got off the phone with Gromer Jeffers at the DMN, he had the exclusive interview with Harper-Brown.  He says she's confident that she'll be re-elected.  Listen:

I'm told she'll be coming out with a new video soon, and I'll update this post with that when I get it.
