Stars Re-Sign Veteran Defenseman Lukowich
FRISCO (Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars have re-signed defenseman Brad Lukowich to a one-year, two way contract for the 2011-2012 season.
Lukowich, 34, appeared in five games for the Stars, recording a plus-2 rating. He spent most of the season playing for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and in 67 games he posted four goals and 27 points.
Lukowich has played in 658 NHL games, recording 23 goals and 90 assists over 13 seasons.
He helped Dallas raise the Stanley Cup in 1999 and won for a second time in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
