INSTAGRAM ADS ON THE WAY
Instagram is getting into the ad game, and the ads are going to look a lot like real instagram posts.
The ads will be labeled as "sponsored," and will start showing up in user's feeds next week.
Users will be able to hide ads they don't want -- and leave feedback.
Companies like Levi's, Ben and Jerry's, Lexus and others have signed on to advertise through Instagram.
It all comes as a new survey shows the social media is the fastest growing in popularity amongst teens.
Instagram has 150 million worldwide users.
THIEF COMES CLEAN 17 YEARS LATER
A California elementary school got quite the surprise this week when an envelope full of cash showed up.
The money -- $300 – came from a guy who says he stole it from the school nearly 20 years ago.
The man, who once attended the elementary school outside of Nevada City, California, sent the money along with an apology.
He confessed to breaking into the school and stealing the school's field trip fund back in 1996.
He said he wanted to make it right and included his phone number, asking the principal to call him if it wasn't enough.
The principal did call to say thanks.
WORLD SERIES NATIONAL ANTHEM WHOOPS
One of the all time greats flubs the national anthem just a bit.
James Taylor was tapped to sing "The Star Spangled Banner" for Game 2 of the World Series, and it started off a little rocky.
Instead, he started singing "America, The Beautiful" but quickly switched over the national anthem.
Taylor did sing "America, The Beautiful" later, during the game's seventh inning and had likely been practicing both songs -- and just made a mistake.
