Addison Police Looking For Armed Man After Domestic Violence Incident

UPDATE 8:45 p.m. - The standoff has ended. The suspect Mack Holtsclaw was not there.

Police believe he is driving a silver Mercury Grand Marquis – license plate: DX2S263. The car has dark tinted windows and chrome in front of the driver side and front passenger side windows as well as chrome rims.

Holtsclaw, 36, is 6'4'' tall, weighing 200 lbs. He has brown hair, brown eyes, shaved head, scruffy facial hair. He has tattoos: dots under his right eye and tattoos on both sides of his neck and an "angel" written across the back of his neck. He wears glasses, and was wearing a blue t-shirt and gray pants.

He is wanted in connection with an attempted shooting and is considered armed and dangerous.  Police believe he is carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.

Addison Police have a warrant for his arrest.

ADDISON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are in a standoff with a man inside a unit at the Addison Park Apartments at 14600 Marsh Lane after he allegedly fired a gun at his wife.

Police say the man and woman were arguing when the man "took a shot at her," around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

He missed and she was able to get away and call police.

There have been no other shots fired.

Addison Police say negotiators from Carrolton and Farmers Branch Police Departments are trying to make contact with the suspect and get him to come out.

Nearby apartment units have been evacuated.

No one's been hurt.
