SOUTHLAKE (CBSDFW.COM) - Southlake police busted a drug house this week, seizing 55 marijuana plants, 13 firearms, ammunition — and a 10-month-old infant.

Officers who were checking on the baby's welfare went to the home on Sweet Street with a search warrant. They say they had probable cause to believe there were drugs on the premises of the multi-stage marijuana growing operation.

They also found evidence users were smoking pot inside the house where it was also sold.

Julia Elizabeth Thacker, 51, and Keith Edward Fields, 52, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

Child Protective Services placed the child with a family member.
