Source: Cowboys Rookie Frederick Signs 5-Year Deal
IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) – A source close to Travis Frederick informed 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday afternoon that the first-round rookie center was finalizing a five-year contract (four with an option as is standard) worth $6.87 million.
Two hours later, Frederick himself made it official by tweeting, "Feels good to be a Cowboy – officially.''
Frederick, a Wisconsin product and the 31st player taken in the draft, is the last of the Cowboys' seven draft picks to come to terms and is expected to win the starting job at center.
