SMU Student Robbed At Gunpoint
UNIVERSITY PARK (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police are looking for the man who robbed an SMU student at gunpoint as she got out of her car at her apartment in the 4600 block of Amesbury Drive.
The student told police he stole her purse then fled on foot.
She described the suspect as a slender black male about 5 feet 9 inches tall in his early 20s. He had short black hair but no facial hair. He was wearing a white hoodie with a dark t-shirt underneath, sagging blue jean shorts, and tennis shoes.
Four SMU students were robbed at gunpoint at their Amesbury apartment just last month, according to a crime alert issued by SMU Police in March.
