SMU Student Charged With Sex Assault

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 NEWS) - An SMU student is facing sexual assault charges, after police say he attacked a fellow student.

19 year-old John David Mahaffey was arrested on Tuesday.

Dallas County Sheriff's investigators believe he attacked another male student twice early Sunday morning.

Mahaffey was released from custody after posting a 25-thousand dollar bond.
