Sketch Of Johnson County Aggravated Sex Assault Suspect Issued

JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) –  Johnson County authorities and the Texas Rangers have issued a mock drawing of an aggravated sexual assault suspect who struck on Sunday afternoon.

At 4:30 p.m. on July 8, Sheriff's Deputies believe a man approached a female victim at knifepoint and led her to a secluded area near County Road 605 and 605A. The suspect threatened the woman, sexually assaulted her and stole her jewelry.

On Thursday, Lt. Tim Jones sent media outlets a copy of a flier featuring a sketch of the suspect. He's about six feet tall and was wearing a red baseball cap over his face when he attacked the woman. He also had on "big sunglasses" and a red plaid long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.

Anyone who saw anything near that area around the time of the attack is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 817.556.6058.

The sketch is above.
