Shooting At Pryme Bar In Dallas Leaves 1 Dead, 7 Injured

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- One person is dead and seven others injured after a shooting at a night club in Dallas early Saturday, police said.

Police said they responded to a shooting call around 1:30 a.m. at Pryme Bar in the 10000 block of Technology Boulevard, near Loop 12.

According to police, there was some sort of disturbance between two groups inside the nightclub, leading to an unknown suspect firing shots into a crowd.

A total of eight people were injured in the shooting and transported to area hospitals. Police said one of the victims, identified as 21-year-old Daisy Navarrete, died from her injuries.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. A description of the suspect was not immediately made available.

Police are asking anyone who may know the identity of the shooter or have information about the incident to call 214.681.1786. Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case, and they can be reached at 214.373.8477.
