HUNT COUNTY (1080 KRLD) - The search came to and end Tuesday morning at Lake Tawakoni after a father and son went missing Monday morning.
According to officials, the 5-year-old boy's body was found in the shallow water near the Caddo Creek boat ramp late Monday night.
The Texas Game Warden confirmed the father's body was recovered from the lake Tuesday morning.
Reports say the boy and his father were last seen leaving the dock on Lake Tawakoni around 5:00 a.m. Monday to go out duck hunting.
Hunt County Sheriff Deputies say a search began yesterday afternoon after nothing more was heard from the father and son. It continued all through the night and resumed at first light on Tuesday morning.
The names of the father and son have not been released.
Authorities have not released any information on what may have caused the boat they were in to capsize.
