Sales Tax Revenue Up In Some Cities
Some North Texas cities have seen double-digit growth in sales tax revenues. Comparing this July to the same period last year Plano saw a $1.7 million dollar increase. Frisco's revenues were up $603,000 and Dallas' revenue grew by nearly a million dollars.
Among the largest cities in our area, Irving saw a decline of $238,000 and Arlington was off by $58,000, even with the new Cowboys Stadium up and running.
