PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - She disappeared from a Collin County shopping mall parking garage two years ago. And, even though she is still missing, a man goes on trial next week accused of kidnapping 23-year-old Christina Morris.

It was 3:55 a.m. on August 30, 2014 when a security camera video showed Morris and former high school classmate Enrique Arochi in the parking garage at The Shops at Legacy in Plano.

Morris' family does not know what happened to her, but prosecutors believe that Arochi kidnapped the woman. Blood found in the trunk of Arochi's car has led police to believe that he killed Morris. In a jailhouse interview with KRLD's L.P. Phillips, Arochi said that he has no idea what happened to Morris.

Arochi goes on trial next week for a kidnapping charge. Prosecutors plan to introduce evidence that, they say, shows him to be a sexual deviant. Morris' mother, Jonni McElroy, said that she just wants Arochi to tell her what happened to Christina. The suspect has remained behind bars on a $1 million bond.

Arochi's defense attorneys have filed dozens of motions attempting to have the suspect's trial delayed or moved to another city. A judge denied the request for a change of venue.

An online community is planning a virtual vigil Tuesday to remember Morris on the anniversary of her disappearance. Even two years later, her family and friends still have hope that she will be found, and often share her story on social media to keep it in the forefront of the people's minds.
