Ryan Has Backed Up Big Talk, Revved Up Cowboys' D
IRVING (AP) A few days into training camp, new Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan took note of all the moves the Eagles were making and declared them an "all-hype'' team.
He also vowed that when they met, the Cowboys would kick around their division rival.
It was instant bulletin board material. Now, it looks pretty clever.
The Cowboys have allowed the fewest yards rushing in the NFL and recently ended the Patriots' streak of 13 straight games with at least 30 points. Ryan's unit is a major reason why Dallas is 3-3, a game out of first place in the NFC East.
The Eagles, meanwhile, are last in the NFC East going into their game against Dallas on Sunday night.
