NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Campaign 2016 brought both Marco Rubio and Donald Trump to North Texas today. And neither candidate held back when it came to their opinions of each other.
He told the crowd, "friends don't let friends vote for Trump," and even mocked him by reading some of his tweets aloud.
In response, Trump, who held a massive rally at the Fort Worth Convention Center, didn't hold back. After bouncing around briefly on a number of topics, he continued to respond to attacks from Senator Rubio. At one point he referred to Rubio as a liar and a lightweight who doesn't have temperament to be President. "I've never seen a man sweat so much." said Trump. "You ought to see him backstage, he was putting on makeup with a trowel. I don't want to say that. I will not say that he was trying to cover up his ears."

The New York billionaire said Rubio has abandoned Florida as Senator and that he defrauded his state.
Rubio continued what he started at Thursday night's debate in Houston.
"Conservatives need to know who's taking over the conservative movement right before they cast their vote on super Tuesday," said Rubio. "So we waited as long as we could because I prefer not to do that kind of thing. But I'm not going to allow the party of Reagan and conservative movement to be taken over by someone who just isn't a conservative but a con-artist."
Noticeably absent Friday from both Rubio and Trump was any criticism of Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
For weeks now, both candidates have attacked him as a liar and a dirty campaigner.
But Cruz said the debate vindicated him last night.
