Roof Collapses In Fort Worth Fire
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The roof of a commercial building collapsed during a fire in north east Fort Worth Sunday morning.
Richard Harrison with the Fort Worth Fire Department released a statement that said firefighters who arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Race Street found heavy flames.
Firefighters initially tried to put the fire out from the inside but after the roof collapsed they had to attack the fire from the outside.
No injuries have been reported.
A barber shop located next door to the fire was damaged by water.
Harrison said the cause of the fire is unknown.
