Romo Says He & Wife Expecting Baby
CEDAR HILL (CBSDFW.COM) - They were married in an elaborate summer wedding, now Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says he and his wife, the former Candice Crawford, are expecting their first child.
Romo was speaking at a drug prevention event at Cedar Hill High School when he made the announcement.
Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin attended the school event with Romo and was also on stage when a student asked, "Do either of you have any kids?" Austin replied, "No. I don't have any kids." Romo said, "I actually got one on the way. My wife's pregnant..."

Candice is reportedly due in early March.
Romo appeared to be healing well from a rib injury he suffered earlier in the season. The Cowboys faced off against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. The quarterback threw for two touchdown passes in the 34-7 win.
