Romo not playing Thursday against Dolphins
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips has decided to sit Tony Romo and most of the starters for the game Thursday night. He just made the announcement before practice that most of the starters will not play against the Dolphins. Stephen McGee will start at quarterback
. This was after a look at the tape and Wade says while he was not happy with the loss, he was not as disappointed. Players echoed the sentiment in the locker room today….that they are not concerned with the performance of the team in the preseason.
Among the positions to be evaluated primarily….safeties and backup OL. Among his comments today, I am convinced that Danny McCray has made this team.
