Romo Helping Prep Prescott For Ravens, Standing By As Backup QB

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - After standing on the sidelines for half the season, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo will be back in uniform for the Week 11 game against Baltimore...but not as the starting quarterback.
Team owner/General Manager Jerry Jones tells The Fan's Shan & RJ show that he fully anticipates that Romo will not only dress for the game, but be active as well as a backup to Dak Prescott.
"He'll practice this week as if he might be called upon and needed to play" said Jones. "Would we play him if we needed him to play him? Of course we would."
"To have Tony Romo to be available to step in is unthinkable, in a positive way" said Jones.
Jones was confident that Dak has no need to 'look over his shoulder' with Romo being suited out on the sideline. "The big thing I want to say is how much Tony is into helping Dak being prepared" said Jones.
"Make no mistake, he's been wonderful about this" said Jones. "Tony is going to have serious options, and he is a young man relatively speaking, and he has the ability to be a great Offensive Coordinator."
