Robbery Suspect Shot, Killed By Intended Victim

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - One of three men involved in an aggravated robbery was shot and killed early Saturday morning by the intended victim.
Police say 27-year-old Jose Lopez died after being rushed to the hospital in a private vehicle.
The shooting happened at 3358 Park Lane around 4:20 a.m.
The two other suspects were later identified and interviewed by detectives. Detectives also interviewed witnesses, and the intended victim. Evidence found at the crime scene was consistent with witness accounts and the intended victim was released.
The two other suspsects were released pending future charges.
