FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Fort Worth have issued an alert after an aggravated robbery at a Walmart store. The incident took place at around 7:30 p.m. on October 29 in the 8500 block of North Beach Street.

According to authorities, a woman was in the parking lot loading groceries into her vehicle near the store's entrance. She was approached by a man who was armed with a knife and demanding money. The victim yelled and resisted, and the suspect cut the victim before fleeing on foot.

Witnesses followed the suspect to a nearby Dairy Queen parking lot, where he was then picked up by a vehicle that left heading north.

Surveillance camera footage shows the two suspects -- the attacker and the driver -- sitting in the Walmart store parking lot for around 30 minutes before the crime took place. They appeared to be watching potential targets enter and leave the store.

The attacker has been described as a white male, between 25 and 30 years of age, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and around 250 pounds. He spoke with a distinctive southern accent and had an overbite. His hair was tucked behind his ears, and his left ear may have been pierced. The man had a light mustache and goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt with writing, a dark baseball cap and jeans that were torn around the ankles.

The driver was also a white male, with dark hair and possibly a beard. He was wearing a light-colored short-sleeved shirt and driving a dark green or blue mid-2000s Dodge Ram single-cab pickup truck with a new black and white license plate. The vehicle had three darkened out wheels, with only the front driver's side wheel appearing to be stock.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4469.
