Richardson Police Investigating Reported Kidnapping, Assault

RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM) - Richardson Police are investigating the reported kidnapping and sexual assault of a female victim early Sunday morning.

The offense took place just after midnight Sunday, when the victim was leaving a club near Belt Line Road and Plano Road, according to the Richardson Police Department.

The victim was walking toward her SUV when the suspect approached her from behind. The man grabbed onto her, displayed a knife, and forced her into her own vehicle.

After guiding her to a parking lot in the 900-1000 block of East Belt Line Road, the suspect pulled the victim from her car where he sexually assaulted her on the ground. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male standing approximately 5-foot-9 and between the ages of 40-50. He was unshaven with shoulder-length brown and gray hair and had yellow teeth.

He had mumbled speech with body odor and the smell of alcohol on his breath. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Investigators believe he may be homeless.
