Richardson Police Arrest Teacher For Improper Relationship With Student
RICHARDSON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Richardson police have arrested a high school teacher for having sex with a student.
Police say the parent of a 16-year-old girl at Richardson High School called them to say teacher James Quigley had sent the teen unwanted texts and emails.
Detectives interviewed the teen and say earlier this year the two engaged in sexual contact.
According to Richardson ISD, Quigley has taught English at RHS for five years. He was placed on administrative leave by RISD on Wednesday after the district received information that prompted an investigation.
Police arrested Quigley for having an improper relationship with a student.
