Report Shows Many Drivers At Fault For Toyota Acceleration
The acceleration problems with Toyota? A new federal report says most of the information studied shows it was the driver at fault not the car.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's analyzed the data recorders from Toyotas supposedly involved in "un-intended acceleration" accidents.
The report shows the throttles were wide open--and the brakes had NOT been pushed.
The Wall Street Journal says the findings don't completely exonerate Toyota in other cases involving sticky gas pedals and floor mats that can trap the accelerator.
