Report: Fort Worth Police & Fire Taking Longer To Respond

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Police Department released a report stating it takes officers an average of nine minutes and 44 seconds to arrive at the scene after someone calls 911.
The findings show it's taking almost a minute longer than last year, when the average response time was eight minutes, 54 seconds.
Fort Worth's city council will discuss police and fire response times tomorrow.
See the map below to view how your neighborhood stacks up. Response times for high priority calls, when someone's life is in danger are in red. People with the red areas will wait and average of 10-12 minutes.
