"We just have a stadium that wasn't designed right and wasn't constructed right," said Hindt.

Hindt repeatedly stated that PBK and Pogue Construction, the companies that designed and built the stadium, would be responsible for the cost of all repairs and any other costs incurred by the district as a result of the stadium's closure.

"I remain committed to holding both PBK and Pogue accountable for the fix of the stadium," said Hindt.

At this time, there is no estimate for the total cost of repairs to the stadium, but it could start at $600,000, according to the district.

Pogue construction has previously accepted responsibility and a willingness to pay for its part of the repairs.  Today, the company immediately re-iterated its promise.

"We stand here for our client; we've been with them for 41 years and will continue to stand by them," said Ben Pogue.

PBK released the following statement regarding the statement repairs:

"PBK has reviewed Nelson Forensics' findings and continues to work closely and collaboratively with the Allen Independent School District and our other partners to achieve a solution to the problem at Eagle Stadium.

Safety in design has always been and will always be PBK's top priority. In its 30+ year history, PBK has designed over 3,550 school structures and 45 stadiums around the country. We are proud of the exceptional quality of our designs and of our work serving the educational industry nationwide.

Together with the Allen ISD and our partners, we are addressing all aspects of this situation and will respond swiftly and diligently to implement the repairs to reopen Eagle Stadium as soon as possible."
