Murray Already Among Top Cowboys RBs

OXNARD, CA (AP) - DeMarco Murray isn't ready to think of himself in the same company as Tony Dorsett and Emmitt Smith.

Well, the second-year running back is already listed among the Dallas Cowboys' Hall of Fame running backs in the team record book.

Murray is now in camp as the No. 1 running back after recovering from a broken right ankle.

On the first carry in his first start last October, when Felix Jones was hurt, Murray had a 91-yard touchdown. The only longer scoring run in Cowboys history is Dorsett's memorable 99-yarder in a 1983 Monday night game.

Murray ran for a team-record 253 yards in that first start. His 601 yards in the first four starts was more than NFL career rushing leader Smith ever had over a similar stretch.
