Rangers Spring Training Broadcast Schedule Released

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Football season is over. Pitchers and catchers report for spring training later this month. Baseball is in the air! And, before long, the games will be on the air.

The Texas Rangers announced the team's Spring Training broadcast schedule. It includes eight games on TXA 21.

Our broadcasts will start on Friday March 23, when the Rangers take on the San Francisco Giants from Scottsdale, Ariz.  Other games feature the Los Angeles Angels on March 25, Cincinnati on the 26, Kansas City on the 28, San Francisco on the 29, Colorado on the 30 and San Diego on April 1.

As a special treat, TXA 21 will show the Rangers exhibition game against the Mexico City Red Devils on Tuesday, April 3.  The game will be played at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Pitchers and catchers report on February 22 with the first workout the following day. The first Cactus League Spring Training game for the Rangers is Sunday March 4, against Kansas City in Surprise, Arizona.

For the third consecutive year, TXA 21 and the Texas Rangers will team up to bring viewers Friday Night Baseball during the regular season as the team goes for a third straight American League Championship trophy.
