Rangers Sign RHP Germano To Minor Deal, Spring Invite
ARLINGTON (AP) - Right-hander Justin Germano has agreed to a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers that includes an invitation to major league spring training.
With the addition of Germano on Wednesday, the Rangers have 11 non-roster invitees to their major league camp.
Germano spent last season in the Toronto organization, allowing two runs in two innings in his only appearance for the Blue Jays. The 31-year-old was 8-9 with a 4.47 ERA in 25 games for Triple-A Buffalo.
He has made 48 starts in 94 major league games with six different teams, compiling a 10-30 record with a 5.29 ERA.
