Rangers Outfielder Nomar Mazara Hits Longest Home Run In Globe Life Park History

ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Texas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara his the longest home run in Globe Life Park's 25-year history on Friday night.

His drive to the upper deck of right field traveled 505 feet according to Statcast.

The Rangers tweeted video of the long home run.

Mazara's 2-run home run in the bottom of the first inning, his tenth of the season, gave the Rangers and early 2-0 lead over the Chicago White Sox.

The Rangers ended up falling to the White Sox 5-4 in 10 innings.
