ARLINGTON (AP)  Texas manager Ron Washington wants to see more fire from closer Neftali Feliz, who already has more blown saves this season than as a rookie last year when the Rangers went to the World Series.

Washington says he just doesn't see a consistent urgency from Feliz.

The manager's comments Wednesday, came a day after Feliz's fifth blown save. The hard-throwing right-hander gave up two runs in the ninth inning in a 9-8 loss to the Minnesota Twins after the Rangers had overcome an early three-run deficit.

Feliz has 20 saves, but has allowed eight of the past 11 batters to reach his last two games, one a non-save situation.

Feliz insists the confidence he has with experience might be perceived as not having urgency.
