Rangers Busy In Offseason
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - The Texas Rangers have been busy making changes to the team that will take the field on Opening Day.
Now the organization is making visible changes that fans will see on April 1st.
Chopper 11 was over the Rangers Ballpark In Arlington this afternoon. A giant crane was in place as the scoreboard in right field is being torn down. It will be replaced with a high-definition video board.
The Rangers organization announced last month it is investing $13 million dollars for stadium improvements.
Another video board is going up in center field. And a new sound system will be installed.

Meanwhile, the Texas Rangers announced their spring training TV schedule. TXA 21 will broadcast 8 Cactus League games including:
Saturday, March 12- Chicago White Sox.
Monday, March 14- Los Angeles Dodgers
Wednesday, March 16- Colorado Rockies
Thursday, March 17- San Diego Padres
Friday, March 18- Cleveland Indians
Sunday, March 20- Kansas City Royals
Thursday, March 24- San Diego Padres
Sunday, March 27- Seattle Mariners
The Texas Rangers first spring training game is February 27th against the Kansas City Royals in Surprise, Arizona.
