ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Let's face it, we all knew this one.

Sitting in the newsroom Tuesday night, watching Josh Hamilton round the bases for the 4th time, we knew who the Ranger of the Week was going to be.

Josh Hamilton's 4 home runs ties a major league record held by only 15 other men.  Men like Gil Hodges, Lou Gehrig, and Willie Mays.

That's impressive company, Rangers fans.

The fact that the feat comes in the middle of contract talks certainly helps his stock, but for the day-to-day, it could be a distraction.  Hamilton was out again the rest of the week, even having a little fun Wednesday night in Baltimore during their rainout.

So for this week, for not breaking a leg while playing on the tarp like a slip and slide, and for that other impressive feat of 4 home runs Tuesday, Hambone is again your Ranger of the Week.

*This week's honorable mention goes to Robbie Ross for his rookie faux pas of wearing the WRONG JERSEY during Thursday's nightcap of their doubleheader.  He forgot to change jerseys during the break between games, and for that, we salute him.
