IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Joseph Randle has had another run-in with the law. Police in Irving arrested the former Dallas Cowboys running back at around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning for an outstanding warrant out of Coppell, after he was reported for causing a disturbance at a home.

Officers were dispatched to a residential address in the 1700 block of Finley Road in regards to a suspicious person. According to James McLellan with the Irving Police Department, Randle was repeatedly ringing the doorbell of a house that belonged to the parents of his ex-girlfriend. The parents called the police.

When authorities arrived at the scene, the 24-year-old former Cowboys player was still there and reportedly spoke calmly with officers. However, a routine warrant check found that he had an outstanding warrant for a speeding ticket in Coppell.

Randle was arrested and was still behind bars five hours later. His bond was set at $359.10.

The former Cowboys running back was released by Dallas in November after repeated arrests. Randle was most recently taken into custody at a Kansas casino after an fight with security guards. He faces assault charges, along with trespassing. A hearing in that case is set for next week in Wichita.

Randle had previously made headlines in 2013, when he was arrested on shoplifting charges at the Dillard's department store in the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft for swiping $123 worth of cologne and underwear. He was given six months probation in that case.
