Quiet Fort Worth Neighborhood Shaken By Overnight Shooting

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A quiet south Fort Worth neighborhood was shaken by a shooting overnight.
Trimble Drive just north of Sycamore School Road is a quiet street will well-maintained homes. That quiet was disturbed overnight as, according to police, a homeowner shot a man who was allegedly prowling on his property.
One neighbor tells us he's uneasy. "It made me feel a little nervous" said the man.
Other neighbors said such incidents don't normally happen on their street. Another resident claimed he was very shaken up by what happened.
The suspected prowler was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Police are still investigating - at this time, we don't know whether the homeowner and the suspected prowler knew one another.
