Probation Revoked For Dallas Community Activist

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas community activist Dominique Alexander had his probation for child abuse revoked on Friday and his two-year prison sentence begins immediately.

According to Judge Gracie Lewis, violations of Alexander's probation included:

Failure to report to a probation officer three times in the past year.

Left Dallas County twice going to Philadelphia and Baton Rouge.

Failed to pay his community supervision fees.

Failed to take anger management and parenting classes.

Alexander is the leader of the Next Generation Action Network that has organized the downtown Dallas marches against police brutality.
