Prison For 43-Year-Old McKinney Man Who Molested 8-Year-Old

COLLIN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A Collin County man has been senteced to 75 years in prison for repeatedly sexually abusing an underage girl.
Timothy Gregg, 43, reportedly began molesting the 8-year-old child in East Texas and continued his abuse after the family Collin County. The child eventually told a grandmother about the abuse last summer.
When interviewed, at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, the little girl gave details of the abuse and a later physical examination corroborated the statements she made.
In a statement, Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said, "This child showed great courage in disclosing the abuse. And because she did, this predator can't harm another child."
District Attorney's Office officials say that after Gregg was found guilty of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child and Indecency with a Child, a judge sentenced him to 65 years in prison for the first count and 10 years for the second.
