Police Seek Killer After 23-Year-Old Woman Found Dead Inside North Dallas Apartment
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are looking for whoever killed a 23-year-old woman found slain in her North Dallas apartment Tuesday night.
Maria Ezquerro was found inside her apartment on the 5400 block of Peterson Lane between The Galleria and Valley View Mall just north of LBJ.
Police said she was the victim of homicidal violence.
According to neighbors, they heard arguing coming from Ezquerro's apartment.
They then heard a man, who is believed to be dating the victim, desperately trying to enter the apartment.
"He was banging on the door, he was trying to open the door, but the door was locked," said Stefany Amaya, a neighbor. "So he had to break this side over here."
Once inside, the man found Ezquerro wasn't breathing.
