Police Searching For Cell Phone Store Robbery Suspect
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Fort Worth Police are asking for the public's help to find a man suspected of robbing a Fort Worth cell phone store and several other North Texas robberies.
Police say a man entered the Metro PCS store at 901 N. Sylvania Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday night. He waited until the last customer left then displayed a gun and demanded money.
The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Fort Worth Police describe the suspect as a black male approximately 30 years old, around 5 feet 11 inches tall with a "pot belly." At the time of the robbery, police say he was wearing a dark colored short sleeved shirt, black framed glasses, black pants and a baseball cap with a large American flag on the front.
Fort Worth Police believe the man is also responsible for robberies in Irving, Grand Prairie and Arlington.
