Police Search For Shooting Suspect (Photo)
Garland Police are currently searching for 27 year old Royce Alan Dotson of Dallas who they believe is responsible for an overnight shooting at the Windward Passage II Apartments located at 4288 Bass Pro Drive.
Shortly after midnight, Garland Police responded to the Windward Passage II after they received a 911 call of a subject who had been shot. When officers arrived, they found a male victim in his 30's who had been shot in the face. The victim was transported to Baylor of Dallas where he is in grave condition, his name is not being released pending notification of family. Further investigation revealed that Royce Alan Dotson had been involved in an altercation with the victim over a girlfriend. Before officers arrived, Dotson fled the scene in a 2005 Red Chevrolet Cavalier TX Lic Z54-VYY.
