Police Search For Men Involved In Brutal Attack Of Woman

DALLAS (KRLD) - Dallas police tell KRLD NewsRadio 1080 they are searching for the men involved in the brutal attack of a young woman.

The mother of the 21-year-old victim said everything started when her daughter got into the car with two men she met at a north Dallas dance club.

The men promised to take the woman to meet her friend at the gentlemen's Club Ecstasy, on Interstate-35 between Mockingbird and Regal Row, but that didn't happen. The woman was handed over to a man, in a Mercedes-Benz, parked outside of a hotel near the club.

"So they said he's gonna take you," said the victim's mother, Alice Cerda. "She didn't know who he was…and she got in there with him."

Cerda says her daughter claims the man beat her and tried to sexually assault her, but she bit him hard enough to draw blood. After that the man allegedly became upset and dropped the woman off at a gas station.

Cerda said it was her worst nightmare when she later saw her daughter.

"Oh my God. I broke down. I felt like somebody was stepping on my chest and I wanted to scream and I wanted to pass out [and] I wanted to throw up," the mother recalled. "Her whole left side was swollen to where if you look at her forward you couldn't even see her ear, because it was that big. Her left eye was just swollen shut and black and she couldn't open it for five days."

Cerda said she couldn't protect her daughter but she hopes to protect others.

"I want these people found. I feel like this is maybe like a ring or some kind of plan that's going on."

The attack happened in March, but police haven't made any arrests yet. They are waiting for DNA test results and other evidence to help track down the attackers.
