Police Release Sketch Of Armed Robbery Suspect

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Denton Police hope this sketch will help them catch the two men who have robbed three young women this month.

The armed robberies happened just a few days apart, all late at night, and all in apartment complex parking lots. Police say the suspects have targeted women when they were walking alone or sitting in their cars.

The first two robberies happened close to midnight on October 9, at Uptown Apartments and on October 15, at Coronado Oaks Apartments. The most recent incident happened at University Courtyard Apartments on October 18, shortly after 10 p.m.

Police says the suspects are traveling in a compact SUV, silver, gray or light gold in color, with dark tinted windows, large, shiny rims, and bright LED headlights.

The first suspect, of which police have released a sketch, is described as a clean-shaven black male, 20-25 years old, about 5'9" to 6' tall, with a thin build and short hair.

The second suspect is also described as a clean-shaven, black male, 20-25 years old, with a heavy set build, pudgy face and short hair.

Police say the pair seem to ride around apartment complex parking lots waiting for the right moment to strike.

Anyone with information about these crimes, should contact Denton Police at (940)-349-7912.
