Police Need Public's Help Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department is investigating an assault that happened last week, and are now asking for the public's help in locating the man responsible.

Police said on Thursday, Nov. 17, a woman in her 30s was walking near Holmes Street and Park Row in Dallas at about noon when she accepted a ride from a man driving a dark colored Ford Fusion.

The suspect drove to a secluded area where he physically assaulted the victim using a weapon. He then drove around to different locations and sexually assaulted the female. She was later dropped off near Interstate 30 and N. Cockrell Hill Road.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, approximately 30-40 years old, 5'10" with a medium athletic build, a goatee, and a close fade haircut. The suspect may have tattoos under his eye. He was wearing a suede type gold or tan blazer with shoes that matched the blazer, a navy blue/white polka dot button up short-sleeved shirt, and denim jeans.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called into Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense and other felony offenses.
