Police Investigate Overnight Shooting In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting overnight which left a woman wounded.
Officers found the unidentified woman on South University Drive near I-30, but that's not where she was shot.
According to police, the woman told officers the shooting happened at an apartment complex, but she said she couldn't remember which one.
The woman's friends drove her to find help, but they hit a curb disabling their vehicle. That's when they called police.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover from her wounds.
