Police Identify Locations Of Sorority Rapist Attacks

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities have identified the general areas where a serial rapist attacked two of his four victims. The man has been targeting alumni of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority. There have been two attacks in Plano, one in Corinth and another in Coppell.

Police have given a rough idea of where the two Plano attacks took place, but will not give the exact locations in order to protect the identities of the two victims. The first assault in Plano happened on November 11, 2010 at a home in the city's Council District 2 – which is in the western part of the Plano. The second attack took place on April 2, 2011 at a home in Council District 4 – the south central part of the city.

All four of the rape victims have been women in their 50s and 60s who were alone in their homes at the time of the attacks.

The suspect has been described as being a heavyset black male in his late 30s or middle 40s, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 250 to 300 pounds. He has a short haircut with thinning hair or a recedeing hairline. He may also have a thin, well-trimmed beard.

Since the attacks have started happening, police have advised Delta Sigma Theta alumni to stop wearing or displaying their sorority letters.
