Police Chief, Civilians Collide on Freeway
Dallas police chief David Brown had a scare last night when he and a couple of civilians got into a fender bender on a Dallas freeway. No one was hurt but it took awhile to sort out what happened. Investigators now believe it started with Brown driving in the left lane of I-45 near downtown, while an SUV was in the right lane with a Mercedes in between. When the SUV changed lanes, it cut off the Mercedes which, in turn, swerved into Brown's car, causing some minor damage to both vehicles. All three drivers pulled over and exchanged information. Some of the Dallas-area TV news departments complain that investigators kept their cameras too far back to get video of the crash scene.
