Police Chase Ends With 1 In Custody, 1 On The Loose
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A police chase across at least three North Texas cities has ended, but the search for on dangerous suspect continues.
The incident began in Carrollton when police attempted to stop a truck that had been reported stolen out of Lewisville.
The driver of the vehicle, with one passenger inside, sped away.
The police chase led from Carrollton, to the North Dallas Tollway. The driver then weaved off the Toll onto several side streets before getting on Interstate-35.
After several miles the driver/suspect the highway again and drove several side streets before getting on Highway 75.
The chase ended in Dallas in the 2900 block of Jerome, where the two suspects bailed out of the truck.
Officers were able to capture one person and have him in custody.
Police allegedly believe there was a gun on the front seat of the pickup at one time, but is no longer there.
The second suspect is still on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.
