Police Chase Ends After Car Slams Into Home
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - An argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend led to a short police chase in Fort Worth, which ended when the car crashed into a home. The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning near the corner of San Rose Drive and Comanche Street in the southeast part of the city.
According to police, the woman was upset with her boyfriend, and she attempted to run over him with her car. When authorities arrived, the woman fled, leading the officers on a short, two-block chase. That chase came to a quick ending when the woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the front of a home.
The woman was not hurt, and taken into custody for evading arrest. There were no other reports of injuries.
The Fort Worth Fire Department was called to the scene to help clean up debris and patch up the badly damaged home.
