FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A man suspected of a multi-state bank robbery spree is caught, after allegedly hitting four banks in North Texas within a month.

Denton police arrested 33-year-old Bradley Kilmer on September 4, shortly after they say he robbed a credit union on West University Drive. A bank customer alerted police something was wrong, and officers were able to catch up to him. According to police, Kilmer took off his shirt and hat as he ran from the bank.

The next day, Alvarado police got a tip Kilmer may have also committed three August bank robberies in Alvarado, Lacy Lakeview and Weatherford. Police say Kilmer wore cargo shorts, a polo shirt and a baseball cap, and the same tennis shoes in all those robberies. Detectives found the clothes at a residence in Fort Worth where Kilmer was staying.

Kilmer is also wanted for robberies in Georgia and South Carolina. Investigators say he accidentally left a cell phone behind after the South Carolina robbery, allowing law enforcement to identify him and issue a warrant for his arrest.
